Kendra Stensven is the Sustainability Director and a Senior Asset Manager for Matthew Adam Properties. She is a LEED Accredited Professional with extensive experience in development and green issues.

Kendra manages rental, co-op, and condo properties for board and investor clients, and advises Matthew Adam properties on greening initiatives. Her goal is to improve energy efficiency and indoor air quality.

She joined the Matthew Adam Properties team after five years with a major New York City developer where she was project manager for the development of a 185-unit LEED-NC Gold multi-family building in Manhattan and coordinated the rehab of a 193-unit residence in Westchester. Prior to that, she was a real estate financial analyst for an investment company in Boston and a senior consultant in the Real Estate Advisory Services of Ernst & Young, LLP.

Kendra earned a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University where she focused on the greening of existing buildings. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in Economics and Real Estate & Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Kendra is board member of Women in Housing and Finance and is active with the Urban Land Institute, Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association, and local green real estate organizations. While in Boston, she helped start the Boston Area Young Real Estate Professionals, and served as treasurer of the Boston GreenSpace Alliance.
